Experience
Curt Wenzler joined VonLehman & Company, Inc. in 2003 as leader of the Tax Services Group. Prior to joining the firm, he had sixteen years of tax experience with a global accounting firm. He is experienced in managing a tax practice. He graduated from the University of Kentucky with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and has spent his entire career specializing in tax.
Mr. Wenzler specializes in partnering with business owners’ and their closely-held companies ranging in revenues from $5 to $650 million. He teams with the business owners to understand their goals and objectives to create a tax efficient business structure amidst an ever-changing tax environment. He specializes in the taxation of flow-through entities such as S Corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies and the tax impact on the shareholders, partners and members. He is experienced in a broad range of industries including construction and real estate, professional service and hospitality and manufacturing and distribution. His tax experience has been especially helpful to clients when reviewing entity structuring alternatives. He has the ability to explain complex tax issues in layman’s terms to clients.
Mr. Wenzler devotes a significant amount of time to the development and retention of individuals in our tax practice to provide our business owners and executives with the technical expertise and continuity they have come to expect from VonLehman & Company, Inc. He is also focused on the design and implementation of methodologies and processes within the tax practice to create an efficient “paperless” tax return preparation process competitive in the marketplace.
